Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid working model with three days in Marylebone office
This role reports directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner - Stores for the British Isles Cluster (UK and Ireland market ownership), the 2nd largest in Pandora Globally. The role business partners the Property and Legal teams, where the role drives robust financial planning, investment appraisal and cost control across Pandora’s store estate. Core finance routines include month end, forecasting sales and opex, annual budgets, flagging risks and opportunities and turning large datasets into meaningful pieces of analysis for decision making.

What to expect from the role
Business Partnering
- Act as the primary finance partner to the Property and legal teams, providing financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision making.
- Build and evaluate investment proposals for new store openings, store relocations, refits and other estate projects.
- Prepare financial business cases and supporting analysis for presentation to Property Board and senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with the Property Director and wider team to understand future opportunities and potential risks across the estate.
- Manage and maintain the network plan used by the business for planning and reporting.
- Identify risks & opportunities in OPEX lines
- Support commercial decision making through financial analysis and scenario modelling where required

Budget/forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process for property-related expenditure including rent, rates, utilities, maintenance and legal costs.
- Produce quarterly forecasts and provide clear commentary on key movements versus prior forecasts and budget.
- Work closely with FP&A and relevant business stakeholders to ensure forecasts remain accurate and aligned to business expectations.
- Take initiative to continuously improve and streamline the planning process
Month End Close
- Own month-end close activities for property and legal cost lines.
- Review and analyse expenditure including rent, business rates, service charges, maintenance and utilities.
- Prepare and submit journals to the Shared Service Centre (SSC)
- Review capex and manage depreciation postings, ensuring costs are aligned with forecast
What we are looking for
- Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
- Previous experience in a commercial finance environment, preferably within Retail (exposure to property costs would be highly advantageous)
- Strong excel skills (use of financial models, vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables etc)
- P&L management experience
- Solid analytical and data interpretation skills
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to challenge when required and work well within all levels of the organisation
- Must be able to work to strict timelines
- Excellent at multiple stakeholder management
- Must be solution focused
- The candidate must thrive in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced environment
