About the Role
We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Repairs & Maintenance teams across Codi Group. This is a strategic and collaborative role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, helping them understand financial performance, plan for the future and make decisions that deliver value for our customers and communities. You'll be responsible for partnering with teams managing significant investment across our homes, ensuring financial information is accurate, meaningful and supports effective decision-making.
You'll play a key role in budget setting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, whilst leading conversations around risks, opportunities and continuous improvement. You'll also support the development of reporting tools, drive improvements in financial processes and contribute to major transformation projects across our Repairs & Maintenance service.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a small team, build strong relationships with colleagues across the business and influence decisions at a senior level. If you enjoy combining strong financial expertise with relationship building, problem solving and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
Skills and Experience Needed
We're looking for someone with significant management accounting experience and a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA. You'll be comfortable managing and analysing large budgets, interpreting complex financial information and presenting clear recommendations to a range of audiences, including senior leaders.

You'll have experience leading and developing teams, managing competing priorities and working to deadlines without losing attention to detail. Strong Excel and analytical skills are important, along with the ability to identify trends, understand financial risks and spot opportunities for improvement.
We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, builds positive working relationships and can support colleagues with varying levels of financial knowledge. You'll be comfortable constructively challenging thinking, welcoming challenge from others and helping teams find practical solutions.
Experience of contract, project or programme management within a social housing environment would be valuable, as would an understanding of repairs and maintenance financial reporting.

This is a full-time, permanent role (37 hours per week) with hybrid working and office bases in Cardiff, Newport or Swansea.

This role will involve a two-stage selection process.
The first stage will be a 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview, which is expected to take place during the week commencing 31 August.
Candidates who are successful at the first stage will be invited to a second-stage assessment during the week commencing 7 September. This will include the opportunity to meet the team, take part in a panel interview, deliver a presentation, and attend a personality assessment feedback session.
