We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Business Partner – Reporting and Market Insights, CIB & HCIB.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role opportunity, offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape strategic decision-making. You’ll sit in the HCIB and CIB FP&A team, supervising Balance Sheet, CIB Other, Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA)/ Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and overseeing Corporate Centre for HCIB. You will support running the reporting and analysis of results including supporting external disclosures and comparing our performance to our peers. You will also contribute to the official Forecast and Financial Resource Plan (FRP) through your understanding of the actuals and contributing to the formal governance for the FRP papers as well as ad hoc analysis. Working across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Tax and the businesses, you’ll ensure results are controlled and accurate and the FRP is robust and reliable.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee reporting for CIB Other, Corporate Centre and the Balance Sheet in HCIB
  • Contribute to External Reporting analysis and disclosures including contributing to Board papers
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure reporting is accurate and can be effectively projected forward for planning activities challenge inputs where needed with accountability for producing reporting and insights
  • Support peer analysis reviews to compare ourselves to our competitors at key reporting times
  • Operate under strict confidentiality and control requirements, and implement Group compliance policy in liaison with Compliance, ensuring appropriate resources and training are in place

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable Finance experience within both business analytics and financial planning/ forecasting with strong technical and commercial understanding of the drivers behind reported/ projected numbers
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting
  • Demonstrable internal controls experience including maintaining records and implementing audit/ regulatory actions
  • Strong understanding of the Group’s strategy; commercially minded and customer focused
  • Proven experience collaborating across diverse teams and influencing stakeholders, aligning expectations, and managing delivery across a global matrix
