We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner (Revenue) to join our Financial Services Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can use their finance expertise to deliver high-quality financial advice and support to the services they support and the wider organisation.
Working collaboratively with services and other employes across the finance team, they will add value, challenge and provide financial analysis to support decision making and initiatives. They will be responsible for the preparation of revenue budgets, closure of accounts, financial monitoring and control, forecasting, and financial planning.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working closely with senior management and service delivery managers, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and confidence.
You will ideally be fully CCAB qualified although we will consider applications from part qualified candidates or AAT with extensive experience of working in a similar role. That experience should ideally be in local government or another public sector organisations. Able to demonstrate confidence and credibility in giving professional advice to management on financial matters, the ideal candidate should have the underpinning knowledge relating to budgeting and accounting.

The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with management and team colleagues is essential, along with being able to manage to deadlines with conflicting demands and changing priorities. Excellent IT skills, including financial systems, are a must.
