Michael Page are delighted to be partnered with a highly-acquisitive forward thinking organisation operating in the financial services space.

Due to continued growth they are looking for a senior level Finance Business Partner to join their award-winning team. This role will be partnering with senior leadership and delivering insightful cost analysis, forecasting, reporting, and investment governance.

This organisation are a real leader within their space with a long-standing history in the industry. They have developed a significant market presence through a combination of established expertise, customer-focused services, and strategic partnerships.

Description

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for Group
  • Provide financial oversight, reviewing business cases and connecting programme risks, opportunities, scope changes, costs, benefits, and delivery outcomes
  • Produce high-quality month-end reporting, forecasts, and insightful commentary
  • Establish and manage clear planning timetables and processes, ensuring stakeholders provide timely, accurate forecasts
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders
  • Investigate cost performance trends, undertake ad-hoc analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance
  • Prepare robust variance analysis
  • Maintain consistent reporting standards, governance, and process excellence, working collaboratively across the wider Finance team.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • A strong communicator with presentation and influencing skills - the ability to really challenge stakeholders etc.
  • Clear thinker with the ability to present simple analysis from complex data
  • Experienced in and accustomed to fast-paced, high growth environments
  • Able to assist with various systems implementation / process improvement projects
