Client Details
I'm currently partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed business in South Cheshire that is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in its next phase of growth.
Description
A key part of the role will be to build strong working relationships and become the go-to finance contact for senior stakeholders across all central functions, providing support, challenge and visibility around costs to help drive better decision-making and business performance.
- Own the Group Cost function, including reporting, analysis and business partnering.
- Lead, develop and support a high-performing finance team.
- Act as the key finance contact for senior stakeholders across central functions.
- Manage financial models, rolling forecasts and cost performance reporting.
- Lead the annual budget and support the 5-year strategic planning process.
- Drive improvements across finance processes, reporting and controls.
- Support audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role.
- Previous leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent technical accounting skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong reporting, analysis and board-level presentation skills.
- Driven, proactive and focused on delivering business improvements.
