We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established North West-based housing organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner for its Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a visible, hands-on role for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and turning complex information into clear, practical insight. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and management reporting for Development and other designated teams.
  • Work with budget holders to understand performance, explain variances, and improve value for money.
  • Review development cash flows and appraisals, support contractor due diligence, and maintain fixed asset and grant records.
  • Monitor daily and monthly cash flow, loan covenants, and regulatory metrics, including quarterly lender and regulatory returns.
  • Support month-end and year-end close, financial statements, audits, and external reporting.
  • Build financial models and provide constructive challenge to support confident, well-informed decisions.
  • Contribute to finance systems development, process improvement, and wider projects across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
