Description

We are looking for people to join our fantastic team at Somerset House Trust. As the home of cultural innovators, the Trust connects creativity and the arts with the broader society. Somerset House pursues a ‘Step Inside, Think Outside’ spirit and is born from the creative community we nurture - the experience and perspectives we host across background, age, race, and stage, and the intersections and crossovers we encourage.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Finance Business Partner will build and maintain relationships across the Trust to enable business partnering, supporting decision-making through analysis and contributing to the overall mission, vision and values of Somerset House.

Key responsibilities:

    • Provide financial reporting and analytical support
    • Delivering high quality, accurate and fit-for-purpose management reports to a tight deadline, including monthly management accounts
    • Interpreting and analysing financial and non-financial information as part of the management reporting process, offering insightful commentary as required
    • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring queries are resolved promptly
    • Monthly fund reconciliation (restricted, unrestricted, designated)
    • Assisting the Head of FP&A to deliver accurate and robust budget, forecast and three-year plans including intelligent analysis, to a tight timetable.
    • Assist with year-end processes, analysis and queries from external auditors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
