Working pattern: You'll spend three days a week in the office, creating great opportunities to collaborate, strengthen team connections and build high-impact working relationships face to face.

About the Role

Join us as a Finance Business Partner and help drive commercial performance through financial insight, forecasting and analysis.

Working across Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Revenue Management, Sales, Information Technology (IT) and Commercial Finance, you'll provide valuable performance insights, support business decision-making and maintain strong financial governance.

We're looking for someone with excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, who can communicate complex financial information clearly, build effective relationships across teams, and confidently provide constructive challenge to influence positive business outcomes.

The Recipe

  • Support month-end reporting activities, including trade accrual reviews, aged debt analysis, balance sheet reviews and financial reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve trade investment queries and overdue debt, helping to maintain strong customer account performance
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, ensuring financial information is accurate, controlled and compliant with reporting requirements
  • Contribute to monthly forecasting and the annual budget process by providing accurate commercial data, insights and analysis
  • Help develop robust forecasts by identifying performance trends, risks and opportunities, supporting informed business decisions
  • Produce clear and meaningful financial reporting, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modelling to support Finance Managers with business planning and decision-making
  • Help maintain strong financial controls across trade investment, claims and customer financial processes, promoting accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, documentation and process evidence as required
  • Champion strong financial governance and process excellence across the Commercial Finance team

Key Know How:

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manage large datasets
  • Experience in month-end accounting, journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Identifies opportunities to automate reporting and streamline processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborative, commercially aware and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in changing environments and respond positively to evolving priorities
  • Good understanding of trade investment, accruals, claims and customer financial processes
