FINANCE

We're a diverse team who partners and supports the business to enable delivery against our strategic and financial goals. All of our functions have an instrumental role within Farfetch to drive forward a financially sustainable business, ensuring we set the guardrails for financial control and enable financial performance.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

ROLE

As Finance Business Partnering Manager you will partner directly with functional senior leaders helping to create a world-class business partnering function who are pivotal in turning insights into actions, driving business performance, and profitability, and championing the long-term financial health of the FARFETCH Group. This role will ensure that the organization operates with financial coherence and that the senior leaders and stakeholders have a transparent view of how their areas of responsibility are performing, giving clarity on the financial impact of their strategic, operational, and trading decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor, partnering with cross-functional teams to understand their business objectives and provide financial guidance
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and revenue growth initiatives
  • Help to bring alignment of financial management across the diverse elements of the organization, standardizing reporting and bringing focus to key financial KPIs
  • Deliver analysis, insight, and recommendations on the financial implications of key business decisions in a timely and efficient way
  • Challenge the organisation to deliver financial goals aligned with the Group's operating and financial strategy through business partnering, driving growth in top-line revenue and efficiencies in the cost base and working capital
  • Delivery of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for functional areas, translating the vision of the business into a long-term financial strategy, and supporting the development of the strategy to drive the business
  • Identify and implement process improvements and participate in existing reporting enhancements with the mindset of continuous improvement

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA/ACCA/ACA is a plus
  • Proven experience in P&L ownership and financial planning, within retail, technology, or the e-Commerce industry is advantageous
  • Proven people leadership and management experience, able to lead with an authentic style and ensure team delivery to high standards
  • Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to influence strategic business decisions, keeping the financial health of the business front of mind
  • A strategic mindset, with an ability to have a long-term vision with an eye on detail
  • Self-motivated in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines, driven to deliver results
  • A strong team player with the ability to interact and effectively communicate with those outside of Finance teams to deliver preferred outcomes
