Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Finance Change Business Analyst to join a high-profile Finance transformation programme within a leading banking environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic business change initiatives, working closely with Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders across the EMEA region.
The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis capabilities with technical accounting knowledge and financial expertise to support the delivery of complex Finance change projects. You will help shape solutions, drive requirements gathering, support testing activities, and ensure successful project outcomes across a dynamic and evolving finance landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide business analysis, documentation, and system configuration support across Finance transformation initiatives.
- Engage with Finance stakeholders across multiple functions to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and project deliverables.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring effective communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Conduct technical accounting analysis and interpret complex financial data to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, Finance SMEs, and technology partners to support successful programme delivery.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
- Degree-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience supporting Finance transformation or change programmes within Banking or Financial Services.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with experience in financial modelling and financial data analysis.
- Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data extraction and analysis techniques.
- Experience gathering requirements and producing high-quality business and functional documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Experience supporting Finance-focused UAT activities, particularly for new product onboarding, is advantageous.
