We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion EDP Finance Transformation Business Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme involving the migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud Fusion. This role will focus on the Enterprise Data Planning (EDP) platform, supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across a complex banking environment.

The successful candidate will combine strong Oracle Fusion EDP expertise with deep finance knowledge to help deliver a seamless transition, drive business change, and provide valuable analytical and financial insights. This role requires close collaboration with finance, technology, and business stakeholders across multiple EMEA entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable project deliverables.
  • Develop and present clear activity plans and recommendations for senior management review and approval.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to agreed specifications.
  • Support finance transformation and change management initiatives through accurate documentation and status reporting.
  • Deliver project activities in line with programme objectives while maintaining effective communication across workstreams.
  • Prepare, execute, review, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate business workshops to gather requirements and support solution design activities.
  • Work closely with finance and technology teams to ensure Oracle Fusion EDP solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting support to aid strategic decision-making and forecasting activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering Oracle Fusion EDP modules within Corporate & Investment Banking environments.
  • Strong understanding of revenue allocation, cost allocation, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
  • Degree-level education in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting finance transformation and change programmes within the banking sector.
  • Experience leading or facilitating business requirements workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong background in data-driven projects and business analysis.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and financial interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting treatments for vanilla banking products.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and exposure to Oracle EBS General Ledger (GL) environments.
  • Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
