Finance Change Specialist

Location: Norwich based (50% hybrid working)
Salary: circa £50,000

This is a great role for someone who has a passion for delivering finance change efficiently. You might be a finance professional with strong analytical skills, ready to take the next step in a change-focused role.

Please note that we have currently two open roles in our Finance Change team: we can offer a role on a permanent contract and a role on an 18-month FTC basis.

A bit about the job:

We’re transforming how Finance works at Aviva General Insurance. You’ll join our Finance Change team to help deliver business change, new systems and processes into our Financial Control Environment. Your role will be to make sure these changes to systems, processes and data flows are fit for purpose, working closely with IT, Change and Finance teams. You’ll be the bridge between current processes and future solutions, ensuring smooth delivery and strong collaboration.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering change in a dynamic environment (Agile experience is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with Excel, Word and PowerPoint know-how
  • Knowledge of financial control framework and basic accounting flows, finance systems and data flows (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Finance Data Hub, General Ledger Accounting)
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
