This is a full-time, role based in the West Midlands for a Finance Consultant. The position involves providing strategic financial management services to schools and academies, including financial planning, budget management, and financial analysis. The Finance Consultant will collaborate with clients to develop tailored financial strategies, provide accounting consultations, and identify opportunities for financial improvement. The role includes:

  • Preparing and presenting financial reports
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Delivering expert guidance to help clients achieve their financial goals

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Finance, Accounting, and Financial Planning
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills combined with experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • Relevant experience in Consulting and supporting financial management within the education or related sectors
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and requirements within the education sector is a plus
