Job Description
Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2027
Work setup: Hybrid (1 day per week in office / 20% onsite)
Clearance required: Must be SC-clearable
Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Finance Functional Consultant with client-facing capability and strong communication skills to support an S/4HANA implementation. The role will lead independently in at least one core finance area, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting, while supporting data migration and end-to-end testing activities.
What you will do:
- Lead independently at least one finance functional area within an S/4HANA implementation, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting.
- Support the full lifecycle implementation of S/4HANA finance solutions.
- Manage and support master and transactional data migration activities.
- Coordinate and execute end-to-end testing activities.
- Provide finance functional consulting and client-facing support.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders throughout implementation activities.
- Support integration activities with Project Systems and Controlling where applicable.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support successful solution delivery.
- Provide functional input to resolve finance-related implementation issues.

Qualifications
- Bring experience as a Finance Functional Consultant with strong client-facing and communication capabilities.
- Possess lifecycle implementation experience in an S/4HANA project.
- Bring proven experience independently leading at least one area of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting.
- Possess experience managing or supporting data migration of master and transactional data.
- Bring experience with end-to-end testing within an S/4HANA implementation.
- Possess knowledge or experience integrating finance processes with Project Systems and Controlling as a desirable qualification.
- Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Hold UK nationality; dual UK nationality is permitted subject to additional nationality disclosure.
- Provide country of birth information as required for security vetting.
- Have not spent 28 or more consecutive days outside the UK within the last 5 years.
- Be able to work 20% onsite in Frimley, Surrey, with the remainder of the role performed remotely within the UK.
