🌟 Join Our Team as a Finance Coordinator! 🌟 Location: London, Kings Cross (Office-Based)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (some Fridays WFH)
Salary: Β£40,000 - Β£48,000

Our client, a leading organisation in the Construction sector, is on the hunt for a proactive and organised Finance Coordinator to join their dynamic team! About the Role:

As a Finance Coordinator, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, Project Leads, and international finance teams. Your main focus will be on supporting financial administration for various projects. You'll ensure accurate invoicing, maintain financial data, and contribute to enhanced reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Finance & Billing:

  • Coordinate monthly project invoicing processes.
  • Prepare and distribute client invoices via email and customer portals.
  • Manage invoice records and billing logs.
  • Liaise with Project Leads for billing approvals and project updates.
  • Process credit notes and maintain accurate records.

Credit Control & Accounts Support:

  • Monitor aged debt reports, follow up on outstanding invoices, and send payment reminders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to resolve finance queries.
  • Assist with audit requests and finance reporting.

Project & Financial Systems:

  • Maintain projects within the project management system (CMap).
  • Update project profitability and management reports.
  • Produce regular KPI reports including productivity and timesheet compliance.

Finance Administration:

  • Coordinate consultant invoice approvals before payment submission.
  • Support month-end financial reporting and revenue tracking.

General Admin Support:

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Office Manager and wider team as needed.

About You:

We're seeking a naturally organised and proactive individual with a passion for numbers! You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in finance, accounts, or billing roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills for analysing financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification (or studying towards one).
  • Experience in consultancy, construction, or professional services.
