Goodman Masson Recruitment Opportunity

Goodman Masson are partnering with a rapidly growing, technology-led financial services business to recruit a Finance Data & Systems Specialist into their Finance Transformation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Finance background and technical, data or systems capability to take ownership of the financial data environment and play a key role in improving how Finance operates. The business has grown rapidly since launch and has built a strong reputation within its specialist market, with technology, data and innovation playing a central role in its continued development.

The business has a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, with a strong focus on challenging traditional ways of working and using technology to improve efficiency and decision making. The role offers significant scope to shape the function, with the opportunity to move beyond maintaining existing systems and help develop more automated, scalable and data-driven Finance processes. There is also considerable runway to expand into predictive modelling, AI and broader Finance transformation as the business continues to invest in its technology capabilities.

The person appointed will sit at the intersection of Finance, Data and Technology, working closely with stakeholders across the Finance function to translate requirements into practical solutions. The role would suit someone who understands Finance and has developed strong technical capabilities across data, systems, reporting or automation, with the curiosity and autonomy to identify opportunities and take ownership of delivering change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
