Finance Director - NCF Living
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham – 100% on-site
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + Annual Performance Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
About NCF Living
NCF Living is a successful and fast-growing UK furniture retailer with stores nationwide and ambitious plans for continued growth and expansion.
We are looking for a commercially focused Finance Director to join our senior leadership team and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for the finance function, working closely with the Owner and senior leadership team to drive performance, improve profitability and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Provide commercial insight to support decision-making and improve business performance.
- Oversee financial controls, compliance, and governance.
- Monitor profitability, margins, costs, and overall financial performance.
- Partner with operational teams to drive performance across our store network.
- Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, new store openings, and investment decisions.
- Lead and develop the Finance team.
About You

- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as Finance Director or Head of Finance.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Confident working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Essential Requirements
- Strong Sage experience.
- Proven B2C retail experience.
- Experience working within a high-growth business.
- Multi-site retail experience is highly desirable.
