FINANCE DIRECTOR - 12 Month FTC

Role Overview

You will lead the UK finance function for Rendall & Rittner, part of the Odevo Group, steering the financial strategy and empowering a high-performing team to deliver accurate, timely insight that drives great decisions. Operating in a complex, service-led environment, you will combine rigorous financial control with commercial acumen to support sustainable growth and outstanding client service.

Based out of our Head Office at 13B St George Wharf, London, SW8 2LE, you will work in a hybrid pattern with two days a week in the office. You will partner closely with the executive team and group stakeholders, shaping plans, strengthening processes and systems, and ensuring our financial platform scales with the business.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Most days you will translate numbers into narratives that inform strategy and delivery. You will review performance, lead forecasting and cash disciplines, oversee statutory and management reporting, and coach the finance team to continually raise the bar. You will also collaborate with operational leaders to improve margins, efficiency and client outcomes.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time

  • Leading monthly close, board packs and commentary, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Owning budgeting, reforecasting and long-range planning, aligning finance with operational drivers.
  • Managing cashflow, treasury routines and balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and controls.
  • Coordinating external audits, tax compliance and statutory filings in partnership with advisors.
  • Developing people, structures and processes within the finance team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partnering with operations and group functions to optimise pricing, cost management and systems.

Experience That Helps

  • Leading a finance function in a service-led, multi-entity or contract-based business.
  • Driving transformation across reporting, controls, ERP or business intelligence tools.
  • Partnering with operations to improve unit economics, pricing, or cost-to-serve.
  • Managing external audits, tax and statutory processes with clean outcomes.
  • Supporting integration, change or growth in a private or PE-backed group.
