An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Director to join a fast-growing business operating at the heart of the creative industries.
With multiple profitable locations already established and ambitious expansion plans ahead, this is a rare opportunity to build and lead the finance function while partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape the company's next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional Finance Director role. You'll become the commercial finance lead for a scaling business, owning financial strategy, reporting, forecasting and business insights while building a modern, data-driven finance function from the ground up.
Working closely with leadership and investors, you'll provide the financial clarity needed to support major commercial decisions, expansion plans and long-term growth.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the business.
- Own monthly management accounts, board reporting and financial commentary.
- Develop financial models and cash flow forecasts to support commercial decision making.
- Provide meaningful analysis and insights to drive profitability and operational performance.
- Partner with senior stakeholders on pricing, growth initiatives and expansion opportunities.
- Build and improve finance processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and leverage AI to improve efficiency.
- Help shape the future structure of the finance team as the business continues to grow.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial curiosity.
You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as a Finance Director or an ambitious Financial Controller ready to step up.
- A background within an SME, scale-up or multi-site business.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to translate financial data into business decisions.
- Experience improving finance systems, processes and reporting.
- Confidence working with cloud-based finance systems and outsourced finance providers.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
