Finance Director
We are supporting a private equity-backed manufacturing business in Aberdeen with the appointment of a Finance Director as it enters an important period of growth and value creation.
This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. While operating as a key member of the senior team and working closely with investors, the successful candidate will need to bring a hands-on Head of Finance mentality in the first instance as the finance team, systems, and processes are progressively built out to support a scaling organisation after the Management Buy Out of a strong performing legacy business.

The role will have a strong commercial and operational focus, using finance to drive margin improvement, cost and profitability analysis, and disciplined Capex and Opex investment. The FD will work closely with operational leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and reinvestment in sustainable growth.
Alongside building a high-quality finance function, the successful candidate will play an important role in the wider PE value creation journey through to an eventual exit, with an appropriate management incentive opportunity aligned to value creation.
