Finance Director
Up to £180,000

Reporting to: Group CFO
Fidarsi are delighted to be partnering with a leading international Financial Services & Payments organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth. We are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to lead UK financial governance, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.
This is a high-impact role working closely with the Group CFO, UK ExCo, Board, and Group Finance teams — ideal for a seasoned finance leader with deep experience in regulated environments.

- Hold SMF3 – Executive Director responsibility
- Act as CASS Oversight Officer and Safeguarding Accountable Owner
- Lead UK prudential regulatory compliance
- Manage external audit for UK entities
- Oversee statutory financial accounts preparation and sign-off
- Deliver financial performance and regulatory reporting to ExCo, Boards, and Group
- Lead and develop a small team (1 direct report)
- Operate effectively within a matrix environment with shared service support
👤 Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with:

- Strong experience preparing and signing off statutory accounts
- A background in regulatory reporting within Payments, Banking, or Financial Services
- Experience preparing and approving regulatory submissions
- Exposure to FX and derivatives (accounting + regulatory aspects desirable)
- A track record in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Ability to provide insightful, action-oriented analysis to senior stakeholders
- Confidence navigating a matrix environment with distributed teams
