Finance Director | Luxury Hospitality | Greater Manchester Area
Are you an experienced hospitality finance leader ready for your next challenge? We're partnering with a renowned luxury hospitality brand to recruit a Finance Director for a prestigious property in the Greater Manchester area.
As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will shape the hotel's financial strategy, support commercial decision-making, and ensure strong financial governance while leading a high-performing finance team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the hotel's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee financial reporting, payroll, treasury, cash flow, and business performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Partner with the General Manager and department heads to drive commercial performance and operational efficiency.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and audit readiness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team.
- Act as the primary financial contact for ownership, auditors, and banking partners.
- Provide strategic financial insight as a member of the Executive Committee.

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the hospitality industry.
- At least 8 years of finance experience, including 3+ years in a senior hospitality finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience using hotel finance systems such as Opera, Sun Systems, SAP, or similar ERP/PMS platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute at Executive Committee level.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
- Previous experience within a luxury hotel or internationally recognised hospitality brand.
