Finance Director | £15m → £50m Growth Journey | c.£125 salary (negotiable)

About the Role

Build the financial strategy behind a high-growth, purpose-led design and procurement business.

This FD role isn't about reporting on growth - it's helping create it.

We’re partnering with an ambitious, founder-led business operating across design, interiors and specialist procurement. Already successful in its market, the business has a clear ambition to grow from c.£15m to £50m over the next five years.

The incoming Finance Director will play a central role in making this happen.

Why this business?

Growth with purpose

This is a business with genuine commercial momentum, but its ambitions don't come at the expense of its values. It is B Corp certified, with sustainability and responsible sourcing embedded into the business model and proposition. Environmental responsibility is a genuine competitive differentiator and an important part of where the company is heading, and is winning them significant market share. They are serious about sustainability, with a Head of Sustainability having an important voice in the small leadership team.

A genuinely interesting industry

This isn't a conventional corporate environment. The business sits within the design and interiors sector, working across an increasingly sophisticated market and at the intersection of creativity, procurement and sustainability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Entrepreneurial leadership

You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team in a business where your judgement will be heard. This is a role for someone who wants to challenge, influence and shape decisions, rather than simply provide financial information after the decisions have been made.

The business has a bright, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, right in the heart of London's design community. It's a setting that impresses, that reflects the character of the business: creative, ambitious and forward-thinking.
