Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our global client, in their search for a Mandarin Speaking Finance Director, to join their UK operations based in Wallsend, UK.
The Finance Director is a key member of the senior management team, responsible for financial leadership, governance, and performance management of the UK business. The role ensures robust financial control, drives operational performance, and supports strategic decision-making.
A member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Director also acts as Company Secretary, ensuring full compliance with UK statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Direct leadership of Finance function (Management Accounts, Financial Accounting, Payroll, Procurement (functional oversight) & IT (functional oversight))
- Own full financial performance of the UK entity
- Lead development of Annual budgets, Rolling forecasts (12-month horizon), Long-term financial plans
- Ensure full compliance with UK statutory and tax requirements
- Oversee production of Statutory accounts, Corporation tax computations, VAT and other regulatory filings
- Own cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
- Ensure appropriate funding levels within the group structure
- Manage day-to-day treasury activities
- Ensure efficient and accurate finance processes, including: Month-end close, Financial reporting, Balance sheet integrity
- Own and improve financial systems and reporting tools
- Lead ERP optimisation (Sage X3) and data integrity

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualified
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating within a multinational business and working closely with an international parent company.
- The ability to communicate in Mandarin is essential given the close working relationship with the Company's international parent organisation.
