Pure Executive is delighted to be partnering with Milbank Concrete Products, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of precast concrete products, to appoint its new Finance Director.
Part of the privately owned, family-chaired Milbank Group, Milbank Concrete has a proud heritage dating back to 1947, combining decades of industry expertise with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Both Milbank Concrete and the wider Group have an excellent track record in ESG and sustainability, with significant investment in lower-carbon products, manufacturing, energy, and transport.
Following the acquisition of CUBE6 in Cambridgeshire in late 2025, the Finance Director will have financial leadership responsibility across both concrete businesses. The opportunity has arisen following an internal promotion and comes at an exciting stage as Milbank looks to continue building on its strong foundations. The business benefits from a strong, knowledgeable, and ambitious Board, aligned around its future growth and development.

Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the leadership team, this is a broad and influential role for a commercially minded finance leader. Supported by a high-performing finance team, and with leadership responsibility for a small commercial team, you will be a trusted partner to the MD and wider Board – providing insight and challenge, holding the business to account against its plans, and helping to influence and shape decision-making.
The role will include:
- Providing commercial and financial insight to support and shape decision-making
- Partnering across the business on costing, margins, pricing, working capital, and performance
- Playing a key role in strategic planning, capital investment projects, and investment appraisal
- Supporting the continued growth of CUBE6 following its acquisition
- Driving continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and processes, including exploring opportunities through AI, automation, and technology

We are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with experience of leading finance within a manufacturing, construction, or project-based environment. You may already be a Finance Director or an accomplished senior Financial Controller ready to make the step up.
Just as importantly, you will align with Milbank’s values and culture: an engaging and collaborative leader who can challenge constructively, influence others, and bring people with you. A positive, can-do approach, intellectual curiosity, and genuine continuous improvement mindset will be key.
