Overview

We have an excellent opportunity within a Single-family office serving a Monaco-based Principal and family, with a global portfolio across marine, hospitality, oil & gas and technology. This is a small office where the Finance Director will own the finance function, with direct access to the Principal and broad visibility across the family’s personal and corporate affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Own treasury, liquidity, accounting, reporting and compliance across the family office and holding entities
  • Produce consolidated portfolio reporting, valuations, net worth statements and investment analysis
  • Manage relationships with fund managers and investment partners, including capital calls, commitments and distributions
  • Appraise new investments and lead financial due diligence
  • Own liquidity forecasting, cash flow modelling, banking and lender relationships
  • Manage accounting, payroll and compliance for UK and Monaco entities
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, budgets and cash flow forecasting across portfolio companies
  • Manage the Principal’s UK and Australian properties and central records
  • Coordinate UK, Monaco and international tax matters with external advisors
  • Review key contracts and oversee KYC, banking and entity administration
  • Support new investment activity and establishment of a new fund vehicle

Profile

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA qualification desirable but not essential
  • Strong treasury, liquidity and cash flow management experience, including scenario modelling
  • Hands-on accounting experience from bookkeeping through to management accounts and statutory reporting
  • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to challenge and interpret models
  • Experience across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions
  • Investment analysis, due diligence and/or family office experience desirable
  • Monaco, Swiss or offshore experience advantageous
  • Autonomous, commercially minded and highly analytical
  • Clear and concise communicator with complete discretion and sound judgement
