About Us

At Tempcover, we believe insurance should never slow you down. Especially during life’s most unexpected moments. We offer fast, flexible temporary insurance with no long-term commitment: temporary car insurance, short-term van insurance and learner driver insurance.

We’ve helped over 4 million drivers get on the road, and we’re just getting into gear. We’re now growing our team for the next phase of our journey. If you’ve got the drive to match and want to help shape the future of driving and insurance, we’d love to hear from you.

We create value in everything we do, for customers and our business. We push boundaries, staying miles ahead of the game. We win together, backing each other to do our best work.

What’s the Role?

We are looking for a commercially driven, strategic Finance Director to act as a primary business partner to the Tempcover CEO and Leadership Team. In this role, you will be the commercial engine of our financial strategy, shaping growth initiatives, optimising unit economics, and leading a dynamic team of 6 to support our next phase of rapid scale.

As a key member of the executive team, you will blend strategic vision with high-pace execution. You will act as a critical friend to senior leaders across Tech, Marketing, and Underwriting, ensuring our growth plans are both ambitious and financially robust. While overseeing our finance operations and regulatory framework, your primary impact will be navigating commercial strategy, guiding FP&A, and driving business performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
