The Opportunity
An ambitious and fast-growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.
This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a scaling business, leading a talented finance team while partnering closely with executives to support strategic growth plans.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and proven leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial reporting and statutory compliance
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management and board reporting
- Oversee tax compliance and external audit relationships
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, governance and risk frameworks
- Ensure delivery of regulatory reporting obligations
- Support forecasting, capital planning and business performance analysis
- Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiencies
- Build and develop a high-performing finance function
- Partner with senior leaders to support strategic decision making

Candidate Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Significant post-qualified finance leadership experience
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience working within regulated environments
- Proven track record of leading and developing teams
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and board-level audiences
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing change and improving finance processes
