Finance Director

Location: Hybrid

Package: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

An ambitious and fast-growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.

This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a scaling business, leading a talented finance team while partnering closely with executives to support strategic growth plans.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and proven leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of financial reporting and statutory compliance
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly management and board reporting
  • Oversee tax compliance and external audit relationships
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, governance and risk frameworks
  • Ensure delivery of regulatory reporting obligations
  • Support forecasting, capital planning and business performance analysis
  • Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiencies
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance function
  • Partner with senior leaders to support strategic decision making

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Significant post-qualified finance leadership experience
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience working within regulated environments
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and board-level audiences
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing change and improving finance processes
