Join Tetra Tech in a highly visible leadership role at the centre of our UK and Netherlands growth agenda. As Finance Director, you will guide financial strategy, strengthen performance and support long-term value creation across a major operating unit.

Purpose And Scope Of The Role

The Finance Director will lead the financial agenda for the UK Environmental Management business (focused on the water sector), together with all Netherlands operations across infrastructure and energy transition projects. The role supports a significant operating unit with approximately £150m gross revenue and 1,500 FTE, contributing materially to Tetra Tech’s European growth strategy.

Reporting to the VP Finance for the Commercial and International Group, with a dotted-line report to the Operating Unit CEO, you will be part of the Operating Unit Executive Leadership Team. You will lead UK and Dutch Finance teams comprising four direct reports and 25 employees, provide insight-led guidance to senior leaders, oversee financial planning and performance, and support strategic decision-making across growth, risk, compliance and commercial performance.

Your Impact In This Position

You will shape the financial strategy of a complex, multi-country business and act as a trusted partner to senior leadership. In the short term, you will strengthen performance visibility, planning discipline and KPI management. Over time, you will improve commercial decision-making, support growth initiatives, champion efficiency and digitisation, and build a high-performing Finance function that enables sustainable value creation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
