Central London social housing organisation looking for a new Executive.

About Our Client

While we are relatively small, we manage a high-value and varied property portfolio and have built a reputation for making a significant impact. Our combination of heritage, location and social purpose means we punch well above our weight.

We're now looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Director to join our Executive Team on a part-time basis. This is a broad and influential leadership role, offering the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the organisation while working closely with the Chief Executive, Board and senior stakeholders.

Job Description

As Finance Director, you will provide strategic leadership across finance, governance, risk and corporate services, ensuring Soho Housing remains financially resilient, well-governed and positioned for long-term success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the organisation's financial strategy, planning and performance management.
  • Overseeing risk management, governance, regulatory compliance and company secretarial functions.
  • Supporting the Board and Audit & Risk Committee with high-quality financial information and strategic insight.
  • Driving efficiency, value for money and continuous improvement across finance, IT, people and business systems.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and acting as an ambassador for Soho Housing within the sector and local community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
