Finance Domain Solution Architect

Salary + car allowance + Bonus

TRIA are partnered with a global FTSE 250 client to hire a Finance Domain Solution Architect who will play a key role in shaping the future of its Finance technology landscape.

This is a highly business-facing architecture role - working closely with the Finance Director and wider Finance leadership team to understand business challenges, assess the existing technology estate and design the future-state solutions and architecture required to support a global Finance function.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner closely with the Finance Director and senior Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements, challenges and priorities.
  • Inherit and assess the existing Finance technology estate, documenting the current As-Is landscape.
  • Define the To-Be architecture, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate and improve Finance capabilities.
  • Develop Finance technology roadmaps, target architectures and transition states.
  • Translate complex Finance requirements into practical, scalable and integrated technology solutions.
  • Work across multiple regions, considering global standards alongside local requirements.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Product and Delivery teams, vendors and wider business stakeholders.
  • Provide architectural governance and ensure solutions align with wider Enterprise Architecture principles and standards.

Experience we are looking for:

  • 5+ years' Solution Architecture experience, with significant experience within Finance architecture and transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, Treasury, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial controls.
  • Experience designing Finance solutions across ERP and wider Finance platforms - SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Anaplan, OneStream, or equivalent.
  • Experience defining As-Is / To-Be architecture, target operating models, roadmaps and transition states.
  • Experience working directly with Finance Directors, CFO organisations, Controllers and Finance SMEs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience operating within large, complex, multi-country or multi-brand environments.
  • Experience contributing to Enterprise Architecture governance and standards.
