Role Overview:

  • Location: Watford / Hybrid
  • Package: Competitive salary + bonus, pension and comprehensive benefits
  • Industry: Entertainment Provider

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Shape the Finance systems and process roadmap, supporting major transformation across SAP, planning, treasury, reporting and analytics.
  • Lead process design and improvement across P2P, R2R, O2C, Treasury, planning and reporting.
  • Play a key role in the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, assessing the impact on Finance processes, controls, data, reporting and ways of working.
  • Partner with senior Finance stakeholders to turn business requirements into practical solution designs, delivery plans and clear priorities.
  • Lead Finance input into architecture and design governance, making sure solutions meet operational, control, data and audit requirements.
  • Oversee Finance delivery across requirements, testing, UAT, data migration, cutover, business readiness, adoption and post-go-live support.
  • Improve end-to-end Finance data flows and integrations across SAP and connected banking, procurement, tax, planning and reporting platforms.
  • Support strong data governance, master data, access controls, segregation of duties and wider compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate manual activity and reduce recurring reconciliation or operational issues.
  • Work closely with Technology teams, project leads and external partners to keep complex programmes commercially focused and aligned to Finance outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
