This rapidly growing international food business has built a strong reputation for supplying high-quality products to major retailers, foodservice customers, and partners across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Operating across multiple markets and categories, the company combines entrepreneurial agility with the scale and ambition of a truly global operation.
With continued expansion across both domestic and international markets, the business is investing in its people and infrastructure to support future growth. They are now seeking a Finance Executive to join the team, offering an excellent opportunity to develop within a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.
Based on-site at their London office, this role offers exposure to a broad range of finance activities across both UK and European operations.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining transactional finance, management accounting support, cashflow management, and financial analysis. Working closely with colleagues across the UK and Europe, as well as external accountants and auditors, you will play an important role in supporting the financial performance of the business.
- You will take ownership of the day-to-day management of sales and purchase ledgers across multiple entities, ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- The role will also involve analysing financial performance, monitoring multi-currency transactions, and supporting the management of invoice factoring facilities and cashflow forecasting.

Alongside transactional responsibilities, you will contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, helping to provide valuable financial insight to support business decision-making. You will also support VAT reporting, year-end activities, and audit preparation, working closely with finance partners across several territories.

The Person
This role would suit an ambitious finance professional with around two to four years' experience within a finance, accounts, or accounting environment, looking to broaden their experience and develop their career. Experience within a food manufacturing or food retail environment would be desirable.
- You will have strong experience managing sales and purchase ledgers, alongside a sound understanding of reconciliations, accounting principles, and month-end processes.
- Strong Excel skills are essential, and any exposure to management accounts, forecasting, or financial analysis would be highly advantageous.
Experience working across multiple currencies or within an international business environment would be beneficial, as would knowledge of Sage 200 or a similar ERP system. Most importantly, you will be highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
With a positive attitude, great communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a desire to grow professionally, you will thrive in a dynamic business where there is genuine opportunity to develop and make an impact.
