Position: Finance Expert — Trading, Derivatives & Crypto

Type: Contract

Compensation: $180–$235/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze options pricing and hedging, including Greeks, volatility surfaces, and scenario risk.
  • Evaluate execution, market making, margin, liquidity, and risk-attribution questions.
  • Assess FX and futures structures, funding mechanics, and position-level exposures.
  • Analyze on-chain data, protocol mechanics, liquidations, and digital-asset funding rates.
  • Identify mathematical errors, unrealistic market assumptions, hidden tail risks, and weak controls.
  • Explain conclusions through clear, structured written reasoning.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4–9 years of relevant trading experience or 3–8 years of relevant crypto experience for the practitioner track; 7–15 years for the senior reviewer track.
  • Professional experience in derivatives trading, volatility, FX, futures, market making, systematic execution, crypto, DeFi, or market structure.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and practical understanding of pricing, hedging, liquidity, and risk.
  • Ability to distinguish theoretical correctness from executable, market-aware analysis.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to make assumptions and failure modes explicit.
