Position: Finance Expert — Real Assets, Project Finance & Resources
Type: Contract
Compensation: $152–$198/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Build and assess acquisition, development, project-finance, reserve, and net-asset-value models.
- Analyze debt sizing, covenant capacity, cash waterfalls, returns, and downside protection.
- Evaluate contracts, permitting, construction schedules, commodity assumptions, and operating sensitivities.
- Review technical reports and translate relevant findings into financial assumptions.
- Identify modeling errors, unsupported inputs, missing risks, and inconsistencies across source materials.
- Explain conclusions through clear, structured written reasoning.

Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5–10 years of relevant experience for the practitioner track, or 10–16 years for the senior reviewer track.
- Professional experience in real-estate underwriting, project finance, infrastructure, energy, mining, or natural-resources investing.
- Strong cash-flow modeling, valuation, debt-structuring, and sensitivity-analysis skills.
- Ability to connect legal, technical, operating, and market inputs to financial outcomes.
- Excellent written communication and a disciplined approach to assumptions and source evidence.

Preferred
- Experience approving investments, credit decisions, or junior analytical work is especially valuable for the senior track.
