EIT is seeking a Finance Functional Lead with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud applications to lead our enterprise finance transformation initiatives. This is a key leadership role responsible for defining, implementing, and optimising finance processes across Oracle Fusion modules to support organizational strategy, compliance, and operational excellence. You will partner closely with Finance leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion Finance solutions.
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Procurement, and Financial Reporting)
- Partner with Finance leadership to translate business requirements into functional solutions within Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud
- Act as the primary functional SME for Finance, ensuring alignment with best practices in accounting, financial management, and regulatory compliance
- Define and maintain finance system governance, internal controls, data integrity, and security frameworks within Oracle Fusion ERP
- Collaborate with integration and technical teams to ensure seamless interoperability between Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems
- Lead system upgrades, release management, regression testing, and change impact assessments for Finance functions
- Provide strategic guidance and advisory support to Finance and IT leadership on Oracle ERP Cloud best practices and new capabilities
- Develop training programs and change management materials to drive adoption and user proficiency across Finance teams
- Oversee issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of financial processes in Oracle Fusion
- Mentor junior consultants and finance system analysts to build internal capability

Requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Demonstrable experience with finance systems and Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, with strong functional expertise across Finance modules
- Proven track record of leading full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementations or major ERP transformation programs
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, statutory compliance, and reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, SOX)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP configuration, workflows, role-based security, and financial reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, FRS, BI Publisher)
- Familiarity with chart of accounts design, subledger accounting (SLA), and intercompany processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge Finance and technical teams effectively
- Oracle ERP Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience with integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Finance-related processes
- Familiarity with enterprise planning, budgeting, and forecasting (EPM Cloud)
- Knowledge of treasury, tax, and financial consolidation systems
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience in ERP or Finance transformation projects

Working Together - What It Involves:
You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary. You will live in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford (or be willing to relocate).
