Graduate Financial Planning Administrator

Near Weybridge (Surrey)

Wealth Management Firm

Working with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients

Supporting Chartered Financial Advisers

£25k basic salary with salary reviews and bonuses

My client are a very well established Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) based near Weybridge who have been operating for many years with a full suite of financial advisers and mortgage brokers servicing local HNW families, retirees and HNW private individuals. I have placed 3 staff into the business and built a very good relationship with the Director. Their clients primarily are based across Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and London, but they do have clients further afield. Cases hold anywhere between £500k to £5m+ of investable assets. The business has very longstanding relations and the advisers take on new business through recommendation and referral. The business focuses on pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, bonds, ISA's, IHT planning, estate planning etc.

The Managing Director is seeking a entry level or graduate candidate to join the team and support him specifically but also the wider team. Training will be provided on all systems and aspects of the role. You will be working on obtaining financial details, writing letters of authority and valuation, onboarding new business, processing new business, conducting AML checks, speaking to product providers and clients and preparing all meeting documents and resources. The business uses numerous platforms such as Quilter, Aviva, Elevate, Standard life wrap & Transact platforms. This role is office based to begin with but then you can WFH once you are established after a few months in the role.

You will benefit from study support for any exams you are undertaking, accessible parking, extensive exposure to working with a Paraplanner and an experienced adviser with HNW cases. The role will pay up a competitive basic salary. You will receive a full induction, a generous 25-day holiday allowance as well as an excellent pension contribution and benefits. You will be enrolled onto the bonus scheme.
