🚨 Finance & HR Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the consultancy side of Dynamics 365 but doesn't want to live out of a suitcase.
I’m currently working with a leading Microsoft-focused technology consultancy that is expanding its specialist support and advisory team. They’re looking for an experienced Finance & HR Consultant with strong Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience to support a portfolio of established clients in live, business-critical environments.
This is not a traditional greenfield implementation role. The focus is on post-go-live support, functional consultancy, continuous improvement and building long-term relationships with clients.
The role
You’ll work across multiple customers, managing a varied portfolio of support cases, service requests, enhancements and advisory requirements.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing Finance & HR-related cases from initial investigation through to resolution
- Diagnosing issues and identifying root causes rather than simply treating symptoms
- Prioritising competing demands while working within agreed SLAs
- Providing functional advice to finance and HR stakeholders
- Communicating complex system issues in clear, business-focused language
- Producing functional analysis, design documentation and test plans
- Advising clients on improvements, optimisation and platform enhancements
- Working closely with technical teams and other functional consultants on complex issues
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
