Finance Improvement Focal
Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited
Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is currently hiring a Finance Improvement Focal. The role can be based out of Gosport or Bristol, UK and will be supporting teams within the wider Finance business unit.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate as the key focal within the BDUK finance team for driving improvement initiatives across the function.
- Interface with the Financial Analysis CoE and broader finance leads to identify key areas of focus for improvement activity.
- Liaise with BDUK Finance systems integrator to glean developmental changes to the BDUK SAP system.
- Interface with broader BGS Finance Transformation leads/focals to embrace improvement initiatives being implemented across the wider Boeing enterprise and coordinate BDUK implementation plans.
- Act as a champion for change across the functional team.
- Support wider functional initiatives as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Proficient on Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint to add analytics and broader team communications.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years post graduate work as part of a finance/business operations team.
- Experience working as part of a high performing team supporting multiple stakeholders/business partner contacts.
- Be familiar with Lean methodologies and an advocate for change.
- Strong communication skills and somebody capable of bridging functional boundaries.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
