Finance Intern
Nordex UK has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Intern starting in Summer 2027.
Contract Type: 12 month Internship starting in August 2027
Location: Didsbury, Manchester
Hours: Our people work a 37 hour week which includes a 3pm finish on Fridays.
Please be aware successful candidates are required to commit to a 12 month, full time placement
How can you make a difference?
Our Finance Intern will work with our experienced Finance team at Nordex UK & Ireland to provide support to our operational teams across the region.
This is a 12-month internship for a placement student who is looking to gain hands on experience in a busy environment to developing skills in a Finance environment.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting with maintaining financial records and documentation
- Supporting the team with the payment of invoices and payment tracking
- Ensuring accurate filing of financial information
- Supporting with the reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts
- Analysing financial data
- Supporting with financial planning activities
- Assisting with management reporting and presentation
- Compiling data for audits and compliance reviews
- Supporting the finance team with month end and year end activities
- Support the finance team in continuous improvements to reporting processes and data accuracy
What are we looking for?
You will either be:
- Studying a Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree and be looking to undertake a placement as part of your degree
- A recent graduate with a Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree who is looking for some work experience in this role.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of competency in using MS Office packages including Advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Recruitment Process
1st Stage

Stage 3
If your application is successful in reaching stage 3, you will be invited to attend one of our assessment centres. We appreciate Assessment centres may sound scary, but our assessment centres are designed to be fun and to give you an opportunity to show us how amazing you will be as an intern at Nordex. Our assessment centres will take place in Manchester in December 2026.
Stage 4
Successful candidates will be notified by the beginning of January 2027
Stage 5
Successful candidates will join our team in August 2027
