Role Description
The Finance Lead is a part-time hybrid role based in Swindon, with some flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accounting records, monitoring income and expenditure, and preparing regular financial reports for leadership and trustees. The Finance Lead will review and interpret financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures. The role also includes collaborating with operational and support teams to provide clear financial insights, contributing to funding applications, and assisting with the preparation of audit and year-end documentation.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience managing budgets and financial processes.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements, including management accounts and reports.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data.
- Relevant professional qualification or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience in the nonprofit, community, or health support sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, and the ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate in a hybrid working environment.
