About 44pixels
44pixels is a venture capital-backed AI mobile app studio building category-defining consumer products at the intersection of AI and design, driven by world-class distribution. We move fast, build high-quality products, and scale aggressively. With millions in monthly ad spend and proven product-market traction, we are now focused on building a world-class, profitability-first growth engine. As an early team member, you will have a direct hand in shaping the financial foundation and trajectory of the company.
The Role
We are looking for a part-time, high-energy, commercial Finance Lead to join our London team. Due to our current scale, this is a part-time position, ideally 0.6 FTE / 3 days per week.
Reporting directly to the founders, you won’t just be inheriting a playbook, you'll be writing it. You will act as the finance engine of the company, serving as a critical strategic partner to ensure our financial operations scale as fast as our products. As the sole finance partner in our small London team, you will have significant autonomy and be the primary point of contact for all things finance. This is a rare, high-impact opportunity for an experienced, growth-minded finance professional to step out of traditional accounting and own the financial strategy of a scaling startup.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
