Business Area/Directorate – Cladding Remediation Directorate
Location – 5 Atlantic Quay/St Andrew's House
Working Arrangement – Staff in roles compatible with hybrid working should aim to spend 40% of their contracted working time working in person at their contractual workplace. More information can be found within Hybrid Working Policy.

Advert type - Level Transfer
Duration - 12 months with the possibility of extension, subject to ongoing service need and organisational requirements.
Eligibility – Expressions of interest are invited from substantive colleagues on level transfer at grade B3 from Core SG only.

We have an opportunity for a B3 Finance Lead to join the Cladding Remediation Directorate on a 12-month basis with the possibility of extension to support the delivery of the Scottish Government Cladding Remediation Programme. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with skills in budget management and forecasting.

The post holder will support the Business Manager, Unit Head, and Director to understand, profile, and manage the directorate and programme budget, addressing risks and challenges within constrained budgets.
The post holder will need to be resilient and capable of operating autonomously and with other teams, but with the expectation of proactive information sharing to build and maintain trust with individuals and teams.
Support and supervision will be provided by the Directorate Business Manager and the Unit Head.
