About nsave

nsave is a fintech company headquartered in London. Founded by Amer Baroudi and Abdallah AbuHashem, our vision is to “Protect and grow the wealth of the financially excluded”. We have built a global platform that provides trusted USD accounts, global payments, and investments for individuals from distressed economies, where inflation is high and banking systems are unstable. Our compliance-by-design approach and proprietary technology allow us to deliver these services securely and at scale.

To date, nsave has raised $22M from leading investors including Sequoia Capital, TQ Ventures, Y Combinator, and SV Angel. Our team has grown 200% in the last year, and with so much more ahead, we’re just getting started!

About the Role

As our Finance Lead, you will report directly to our Head of Finance and act as their right hand in building a finance function fit for a newly authorised FCA Electronic Money Institution (EMI).

You will own safeguarding day to day, making sure customer funds are protected, reconciled and reported correctly every single day.

You will lead on regulatory reporting and capital adequacy, making sure nsave meets its obligations to the FCA accurately and on time.

You will build and strengthen the controls, processes, and reporting that allow nsave to scale safely across new markets.

Who you are

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in finance at an FCA-regulated EMI or payment institution, or in audit or advisory work for these firms
  • Strong track record of running safeguarding under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 and Payment Services Regulations 2017, including the FCA’s new safeguarding regime (CASS 15)
  • Ability to prepare FCA regulatory returns, calculate own funds and capital requirements, and support liquidity and wind-down planning
  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgment, with the confidence to challenge and escalate when something isn’t right
  • Meticulous attention to detail in areas where accuracy is non-negotiable
  • Experience in fintech, startups, or regulated environments is a plus, as is experience with multi-currency operations or supporting a firm through FCA authorisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
