Job Title: Finance-led Technology Project Manager (Senior Consultant)

Location: City of London - onsite 3 days per week
Duration: Fixed Term Contract - 6 months
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start: ASAP

At Pace, our consultants genuinely care about the impact our work has on our customers and their customers alike. We are ‘problem solvers’ who call on our collective experience, knowledge and skills to support customers to access benefits early.

Our mission is to create environments that thrive for our customers; we enable this by providing transformation, process optimisation, and automation services, all with the aim of enabling our customers to harness human autonomy.

We are reimagining how transformation services are delivered, taking a human-centred approach, and our work is having a material impact on people's lives. If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.

Role:

Supporting one of our Legal Services customers in Central London, you will join us as an experienced Project Manager to lead two high-profile, technology-enabled Finance initiatives.

The role will take ownership of a global E-Invoicing project, ensuring that statutory inbound and outbound invoicing requirements are delivered across in-scope offices within mandatory deadlines. It will also support the Revenue Life Cycle Technology and Tools programme, delivering solutions that help Finance teams reduce billing costs and cycle times.

This is a complex, cross-functional delivery role involving Technology, Finance, Tax, local offices, SAP programme teams and third-party vendors. The successful candidate will bring strong governance, structured planning and the ability to maintain momentum across multiple regional implementations.

You will be an experienced Project Manager who combines structured delivery discipline with sound, pragmatic judgement. Comfortable operating across business and technology teams, you will be able to create clarity in a complex environment, build alignment among senior stakeholders and suppliers, and keep regional delivery on track against mandatory statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

  • Owning and maintaining the integrated E-Invoicing project plan, covering regional milestones, statutory deadlines, testing, deployment and post-go-live warranty periods.
  • Coordinating Technology, Finance, Tax, local office, vendor and SAP programme workstreams.
  • Managing project governance, including Project Board reporting, RAID management, approvals, change control, escalations and exception reporting.
  • Tracking scope, budget and resources, ensuring that impacts on timescales, requirements and cost are assessed and managed through the appropriate governance routes.
  • Driving requirements confirmation, design approval, build readiness, test planning, UAT, deployment readiness and service transition.
  • Working with Finance and change stakeholders to assess process impacts and coordinate communications, training and operational readiness.
  • Managing engagement with external vendors, including delivery coordination, statement-of-work activity and issue escalation.
  • Maintaining complete, controlled and audit-ready project documentation that can be reused for future implementations.
  • Supporting the delivery and acceptance of technology-enabled tools for the Revenue Life Cycle programme

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
