Join a growing and evolving professional services organisation as a Finance Manager, playing a key role in financial control, management accounting, and team leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to support business growth while enhancing financial governance and reporting.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the management, accounting, and financial control functions, helping to maintain a robust control environment and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organisation. You'll also lead a small finance team and contribute to process improvements during an exciting period of development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Strengthening the financial control framework, including documenting key controls.
- Produce quarterly analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet performance.
- Support year-end and interim audit processes.
- Prepare regulatory reporting returns for regulated entities.
- Lead, develop and mentor a team of finance professionals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong IFRS and FRS 102 expertise. You will bring proven experience leading and developing finance teams, coupled with the ability to improve processes, adapt quickly to change, and drive continuous improvement. Strong audit management experience, advanced Excel skills, and the confidence to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
