Job Description
Your Role: Finance Manager, Cost and Capital
The Finance Manager role within the Cost & Capital finance team is your opportunity to drive insight and support transformative change across Global. This role focuses on workforce economics, cost optimisation and strategic finance partnering. You’ll build robust data sets, analyse financial information and optimise costs to support decision-making that propels Global forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic finance partnering (30%): Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, providing insight and constructive challenge to support commercial decision-making.
- Workforce economics and productivity (20%): Lead analysis of workforce economics and productivity, including investment decisions, organisational design and productivity metrics.
- Cost oversight and optimisation (25%): Provide oversight and challenge of the cost base, ensuring spend aligns with priorities and delivers value for money. Partner with leadership and Procurement to identify and deliver efficiency opportunities.
- Planning, reporting and transformation (25%): Support budgeting and forecasting, develop clear reporting and dashboards, and work with the Finance Director on workforce planning, headcount governance and finance systems/process improvements.

- Built trusted relationships with business leadership, becoming a go-to finance partner on cost, workforce and investment decisions.
- Played a key role in shaping cost optimisation and transformation initiatives.
- Strengthened financial governance and insight around workforce and cost management, helping ensure resources are deployed in line with strategic priorities.
