Finance Manager

Maidenhead
£60,000 per annum
Fully Office Based
ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing and ambitious organisation based in Maidenhead.
This is a broad, hands-on role offering ownership across the finance function, with particular responsibility for group reporting, investment reporting, charity accounting, and Board-level reporting.
Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for producing accurate and insightful financial information while ensuring the organisation has robust controls, processes, and reporting in place.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant who is technically strong but equally comfortable getting into the detail. This is not purely a reporting role – you will need to be a genuine full-board accountant, confident taking ownership across management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reporting packs
  • Ownership of group reporting, including multi-entity reporting and consolidations
  • Preparation of investment reporting and associated financial analysis
  • Responsibility for accounting and reporting across charitable entities
  • Preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Balance sheet ownership and reconciliations
  • Preparation of financial information and analysis for senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Management of year-end accounts and the external audit process
  • Oversight of statutory reporting and financial compliance
  • Maintaining and strengthening financial controls, processes, and procedures
  • Providing meaningful variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting senior stakeholders with commercial and financial decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting
  • Remaining hands-on with the underlying accounting and day-to-day finance function when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
