Finance Manager

This is a great opportunity within finance to support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing effective financial support across the business. The position offers significant exposure to business partnering and operational finance activities, with responsibility for treasury management, balance sheet reconciliations, audit support, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage treasury activities, including daily bank account reviews and bank reconciliations at month-end and mid-month.
  • Partner with departments across the business to identify issues, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc recharges for salaries, expenses, and other costs.
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and commentary.
  • Support month-end processes, including intercompany reconciliations.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding processes, ensuring all validation and compliance checks are completed in line with internal policies.
  • Maintain and support robust financial controls and adherence to company procedures.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including leading the resolution of audit findings where required.
  • Respond to corporate and stakeholder finance queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support statutory tax submissions and related financial returns.
  • Prepare financial reporting packs and executive-level management information.

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Proficient in accounting systems, with SAP experience advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
